Davante Adams

Davante Adams, a professional football wide receiver, has a storied career in the National Football League (NFL). Currently playing for the Los Angeles Rams, Adams' journey in the NFL began when he was selected in the second round of the 2014 NFL draft by the Green Bay Packers. He set the Packers' rookie record for receiving yards in a playoff game, and concluded the 2016 season as the Packers' second-leading receiver. His college achievements notably include leading the nation in 2013 with 131 receptions for 1,719 yards and 24 touchdowns while playing for Fresno State.

Adams' prowess in the field was recognized when he was named to his first Pro Bowl in 2017, a recognition he received six times by 2022. He also earned a spot on the NFL Top 100 Players list multiple times. His exceptional performance in 2018 resulted in over 100 receptions in a season and 1,386 receiving yards, both nearly setting franchise records for the Packers. In 2020, he led the league with 18 receiving touchdowns, tying Sterling Sharpe's single-season franchise record. Moreover, Adams set a new franchise record with 115 receptions that year.

Adams' career took a turn when he signed a five-year contract with the Las Vegas Raiders, making him the highest-paid wide receiver at the time. He continued to shine by setting the Raiders franchise record for most receiving yards in a season with 1,516 yards in 2022. He then moved to the Los Angeles Rams after signing a two-year deal in March 2025. His journey in the NFL is marked by a unique achievement, becoming the first player in NFL history to lead the league in touchdown receptions with three different teams. Apart from his football career, Adams also starred in the Netflix original series "Receiver" in 2024.
