Dante Bowe

Dante Bowe is a Grammy Award, GMA Dove Award, Stellar Award, and BMI Award-winning singer, songwriter, and performer recognized for his contributions to contemporary gospel music. A founding member of Maverick City Music and AMEN Music, Bowe has played a significant role in shaping modern worship through his genre-blending artistry, introspective lyrics, and soulful sound.

Bowe's independent debut, "Son of a Father," reached No. 21 on the Billboard charts, introducing a blend of soul, gospel, and R&B. After working as a backing vocalist, Bowe emerged as a worship leader and co-wrote the platinum-selling track "In Spite of Me" for Tasha Cobbs Leonard and Maverick City Music's "Promises."

His breakthrough as a solo artist came with the album "Circles," which explores personal themes and social issues. The album features the single "Joyful," which won the GMA Dove Award for Contemporary Gospel Recorded Song of the Year. "Joyful" also made history by charting on both Billboard's Gospel Airplay and Christian Song charts, highlighting Bowe's ability to bridge gospel and contemporary Christian music formats. Billboard named Bowe the Top New Gospel Artist. Bowe set a record for the greatest number of simultaneous nominations in the Best Gospel Performance/Song category at the Grammy Awards, with nominations for "Voice of God," "Joyful," and for songwriting on Elevation Worship and Maverick City Music's "Wait on You." He won the Grammy Award for Best Contemporary Christian Music Album for his work on "Old Church Basement" by Elevation Worship and Maverick City Music. Bowe was also named BMI's Gospel Songwriter of the Year and received BMI's Song of the Year for "Gratitude." At the GMA Dove Awards, he won Worship Song of the Year with "Gratitude."

Continuing to innovate in gospel and Christian music, Bowe released his self-titled album "Dante Bowe," which debuted at No. 5 on iTunes and reached No. 21 on the Billboard charts, featuring collaborations with Flavour, Vic Mensa, Jekalyn Carr, and others. He co-founded AMEN Music, releasing albums including "Amen Nights: Chapter 1" and "In the Light." His album "Welcome Home" features collaborations with Tasha Cobbs Leonard, Benita Jones, Tamela Mann, Enrique Holmes, and Maryanne George, and explores themes of faith, redemption, and identity.
