Dana Brownlee, MBA, PMP

Dr. Dana Brown is the Director of the MBA at Said Business School, Oxford University. In this role, she oversees a unique one year MBA that prepares future global business leaders to develop the skills and knowledge required to have an impact on community and world scale challenges through their work. She has worked as a professor, lecturer and executive coach at Oxford, EMLYON and several global business schools. Her research and teaching are focused on sustainable business in emerging markets and social entrepreneurship.

She is also the founder Professionalism Matters an Atlanta based corporate training company. Her courses are specifically designed to provide best practices and techniques that participants can immediately apply in the workplace.

Her business expertise has been featured by (or published in) CNN, The Wall Street Journal, The Huffington Post, Atlanta Journal-Constitution, Redbook, Working Mother, Forbes.com, and other notable publications. Dana is also the author of The Unwritten Rules of Managing Up: Project Management Techniques from the Trenches.

A nationally recognized speaker, Dana speaks to groups large and small on a variety of topics including tips for rescuing your meetings, dealing with the difficult boss, secrets of the “Thoroughbred Leader”, and discovering the keys to true work-life balance.

She works as a volunteer advisor for Warm Heart, a community development social enterprise in Phrao, Thailand.

Dana has a PhD in Political Science from MIT and studied as a Rhodes Scholar for her M.Phil. in Russian Studies at Oxford University.
