Dan White

Dan White is an American magician, producer, and creative consultant known for his intimate and elegant approach to illusion. White began performing magic at age 10 and, while growing up in Philadelphia, developed his interest by working in a local magic store and learning from experienced magicians. He studied art history at Temple University in Philadelphia and later pursued further studies at Sotheby's Institute of Art.

White has worked as a creator, performer, teacher, consultant, and producer in the field of magic. He launched a sold-out run of the show "The Magician" at the NoMad Hotel in New York, which received critical acclaim for its original and immersive approach. The Wall Street Journal highlighted the show as a key driver in the resurgence of magic performances, noting White's ability to transform illusions into engaging experiences in a 72-seat venue. "The Magician" has been featured in Vanity Fair, Wall Street Journal, and on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon. The show has attracted guests such as Neil Patrick Harris, Kanye West, Kim Kardashian, Jimmy Fallon, Questlove, Aziz Ansari, Aaron Paul, Allison Williams, Jacob Tremblay, and Jesse Eisenberg. After a five-year sold-out run, "The Magician" returned for a limited engagement at the New York City landmark at 281 Park Avenue South, with the penthouse floor transformed into an exclusive venue.

In addition to his headline show, White has served as a magic consultant for David Copperfield, David Blaine, and Kanye West. He collaborated with David Copperfield's creative team to design the "Hangman Illusion" for the Warner Brothers motion picture "The Incredible Burt Wonderstone." White was also the illusion consultant and creative consultant for Kanye West's "The Yeezus Tour." He worked with the global magic collective Theory11 to create magic for the presentation of the menu at Eleven Madison Park Restaurant in New York City, a collaboration featured in The New York Times and The New Yorker.

White starred in "The Supernaturalist" for Discovery Channel, traveling to places such as Nepal to explore different cultural perspectives on magic. His show "White Magic" premiered on Travel Channel. Over the past 25 years, White has created magic for stage and screen worldwide, including multiple appearances on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon. He has also been the featured entertainment at events such as Diddy's White Party, the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show, The Hamptons Social, and the iHeartRadio Music Festival.
