Dan Mintz

Dan Mintz is a comedian, actor, and writer known for his distinctive voice and deadpan delivery in animated television. A graduate of Harvard University, where he contributed to The Harvard Lampoon, Mintz began his career in stand-up comedy before moving into television writing. He secured his first writing position at Comedy Central's "Crank Yankers" and later worked on "Last Call with Carson Daly." His writing credits include a range of comedy programs such as "The Andy Milonakis Show," "Human Giant," "Lucky Louie," "Important Things with Demetri Martin," "Jon Benjamin Has a Van," "Nick Swardson's Pretend Time," "Nathan for You," and "Veep."

Mintz is widely recognized for voicing Tina Belcher, the oldest daughter of Bob and Linda Belcher, on the animated series "Bob's Burgers." His stand-up style led series creator Loren Bouchard to cast him for the role, which was originally written as a boy named Daniel. After the character was reimagined as an adolescent girl, Mintz maintained the same vocal approach. He has also contributed as a writer to "Bob's Burgers," including the episode "The Equestranauts."

In stand-up comedy, Mintz is noted for his extremely deadpan performance style, often keeping his gaze fixed straight ahead due to stage fright. He has appeared on late-night television shows such as "Late Night with Conan O'Brien," "The Late Show with David Letterman," "Jimmy Kimmel Live," and "Late Night with Seth Meyers." Mintz reprised the role of Tina Belcher in "The Bob's Burgers Movie." In addition to voice acting, he has appeared in live-action roles on series including "Silicon Valley," "The Goldbergs," and "Speechless." He also served as a writer and executive producer on Fox's "Son of Zorn." Mintz has participated in "Comics Reading Comics," a show where comedians perform comic books, which sold out its preview at the Hollywood Fringe Festival.
