DK Metcalf

DeKaylin Zecharius "DK" Metcalf is a professional football wide receiver currently playing for the Pittsburgh Steelers of the National Football League (NFL). He began his career with the Seattle Seahawks from 2019 to 2024. During that period, Metcalf made significant strides in his career, earning a place in the Pro Bowl twice in 2020 and 2023 and a second-team All-Pro selection in 2020. Metcalf's performance on the field is reflected in his record of 438 receptions, 6,324 receiving yards, and 48 receiving touchdowns by the end of the 2024 NFL season.

Metcalf's athletic prowess extends beyond the football field. In 2021, he participated in the 100-meter portion of the USATF Golden Games and Distance Open, demonstrating his speed and versatility. Metcalf's community engagement is also notable, as seen when he launched a coffee brand, "Decaf Metcalf", in partnership with Volcanica Coffee. The partnership earmarked part of the proceeds for Prison Fellowship, a charity initiative. Outside of his professional and philanthropic endeavors, Metcalf showcased his talent in the NBA All-Star Weekend Celebrity Game in 2023, where he was named the Most Valuable Player.

After six seasons with the Seahawks, Metcalf requested a trade and was subsequently transferred to the Pittsburgh Steelers in March 2025. His move was accompanied by a significant five-year contract extension. In his rookie year with the Seahawks, Metcalf set the record for most receiving yards in a debut (89 yards vs. Cincinnati Bengals). He also set another franchise record in 2020 with 1,303 receiving yards, surpassing Steve Largent.
