William Sami Étienne Grigahcine, known professionally as DJ Snake, is a French DJ and record producer recognized for his blend of hip-hop, trap, and electronic dance music. Grigahcine began DJing in Parisian clubs at age 14 and started producing music at 19, developing his skills within the city's underground music scene. His stage name, "Snake," originated from his youth, referencing his ability to evade police while creating graffiti art, a nickname that followed him into his music career. Grigahcine's multicultural background and exposure to Parisian street culture and international hip-hop have shaped his distinctive sound, appealing to audiences worldwide.

Grigahcine gained mainstream attention by co-producing tracks for Lady Gaga's album "Born This Way," which earned a Grammy nomination for Album of the Year.
