DJ Keelez

DJ Keelez is a Los Angeles-based DJ, MC, and entrepreneur known for her work in the Southern California entertainment industry. A Puerto Rican LGBTQ+ woman, Keelez built her career on the principle that every event deserves a soundtrack that authentically represents its participants. She founded DJ Keelez & Associates, a full-service, LGBTQ+ and women-owned entertainment company serving weddings, corporate events, Pride festivals, nonprofit galas, and private parties throughout Los Angeles, Orange County, Palm Springs, San Diego, and surrounding areas.

With more than 15 years of professional experience and over 1,000 weddings performed, Keelez is recognized for her open-format, multi-genre mixing style, combining crowd-reading skills with seamless transitions to maintain energetic dance floors. DJ Keelez & Associates has been recognized by Equally Wed Magazine for inclusive wedding DJ services, reflecting a commitment to honoring diverse cultures and identities. Keelez is also known for her ability to keep events running smoothly from start to finish.

Keelez’s client list includes companies such as Apple, Pixar, Netflix, TikTok, Microsoft, Coca-Cola, AT&T, and Bank of America, as well as universities including USC, UCLA, and Duke University. She has performed for celebrities such as Al Pacino, Kim Kardashian, Jane Fonda, and Paul Stanley of KISS. Notable engagements include providing music for the U.S. Soccer x Jim Beam Block Party outside SoFi Stadium, recognized as the first women’s sporting event at the venue, and serving as DJ for the Los Angeles Pride Parade for multiple years, establishing her presence in the city’s LGBTQ+ community.

In addition to her DJ work, Keelez supports organizations such as the Human Rights Campaign, Los Angeles LGBT Center, AIDS Walk, ACLU, and Muscular Dystrophy Association. DJ Keelez & Associates also offers wedding officiant services and premarital counseling.
