The film features Aaron Paul, Bryce Dallas Howard, and Violet McGraw, and was produced by Jason Blum, Roy Lee, and Steven Schneider through Blumhouse Productions and Spooky Pictures. Barker was also selected to write and direct a reboot of "The Texas Chainsaw Massacre" with A24 Films. Universal Pictures acquired his next directorial project, an original horror film produced by Blumhouse and Atomic Monster.
