Cooper DeJean

Cooper DeJean, a professional football cornerback and punt returner, currently plays for the Philadelphia Eagles of the National Football League (NFL). After a successful career playing college football for the Iowa Hawkeyes, DeJean was selected in the second round of the 2024 NFL draft by the Philadelphia Eagles. His college career was marked by several notable achievements, including receiving unanimous All-American honors in 2023 and being named as a finalist for the Jim Thorpe Award in the same year.

Throughout his time with the Iowa Hawkeyes, DeJean was recognized for his exceptional defensive skills, earning the title of Big Ten Defensive Back of the Year in 2023. DeJean made his first career touchdown during Super Bowl LIX, making him the first player to score a touchdown on their birthday in Super Bowl history. The Eagles became Super Bowl champions 40-22 against the Kansas City Chiefs.
