Confidence Staveley is a multi-award-winning cybersecurity leader, bestselling author, talent developer, and advocate for gender inclusion. She excels at making complex cybersecurity concepts accessible to diverse audiences and holds numerous industry certifications, including CISSP, CSSLP, and CCISO.
Currently serving on the Global Future Council on Cybersecurity for the World Economic Forum and as a Global Ambassador for the Global Council for Responsible AI, Staveley has been recognized as a Top 40 Global Thought Leader in Security and Safety (2024), received the SANS Difference Maker Award for People’s Champion of the Year (2024), was named one of the “150 Fascinating Females Fighting Cybercrime” (Women Know Cyber), and honored as a Top 25 Leader in Cybersecurity (2024) as well as the Cybersecurity Woman of the World (2023), among many other recognitions.
In addition to her advisory roles on various boards, Staveley is the founder of CyberSafe Foundation, a leading non-profit dedicated to democratizing access to cybersecurity and AI education. She also leads MerkleFence, an application security talent and consulting company, and serves as the Founder and Editor-in-Chief of AI Cyber Magazine, a seasonal publication offering insights into how AI technologies are shaping the cybersecurity landscape.
