And she is happy to finally have the show on air after months of planning.
Claire added: “It’s great to have the first one done – the build-up is long and we were trying to get one done for ages but now we have done it we can move on from there.
“It is tremendously exciting to have your own programme and it’s pressurised as well trying to make it better than the last week and coming up with ideas.
“It’s great fun but also there’s a great responsibility in making sure we get the debate right and that we do what we promise to do and come up with topics that people are talking about.”
“We were surprised, shocked and delighted that part of our show went global and the Ellen Show picked it up and tweeted it to their 39 million followers.
“I was taken aback and it was good in the way that it showed we are having a mature debate in Ireland and that people are engaged in same-sex marriage discussion.”
