Christoph Schweizer is CEO of Boston Consulting Group (BCG), one of the world’s premier management consulting firms that partners with leaders in business and society to solve complex challenges and capture transformative opportunities. He has served as CEO since October 2021 and was re‑elected by BCG’s partners to lead the firm into its next chapter of growth and innovation.
Schweizer’s career at BCG spans more than two decades, beginning in 1997 and encompassing leadership roles across regions and practices, including as BCG’s Chair for Central and Eastern Europe and the Middle East and as global head of the firm’s healthcare practice. Throughout his tenure, he has guided clients through major transformations—from digital and AI strategies to mergers, growth planning, and organizational resilience. Under his leadership, the firm has significantly expanded its capabilities in advanced technology, sustainability, and business transformation, contributing to continued global growth.
He holds an MBA from the University of Texas at Austin and a bachelor’s degree from WHU – Otto Beisheim School of Management in Germany. Schweizer is based in Munich and is a member of key global business leadership networks.
