Christine Romans

Christine Romans is a broadcast journalist and author known for her work in business and economic news. Romans began her career as a print journalist, reporting for The Des Moines Register, Knight-Ridder Financial News, and Reuters before transitioning to television. She joined CNN after working at newspapers and Reuters Television, initially reporting from the floor of the New York Stock Exchange before becoming the network's chief business correspondent.

During her time at CNN, Romans covered major financial stories, including Wall Street developments, the rise of cryptocurrency, the collapse of FTX, the impact of the pandemic on the economy, the regional banking crisis, the financial crisis, and the dot-com bubble and bust. She has interviewed figures such as Bob Iger, Jamie Dimon, Dolly Parton, and Martha Stewart on topics related to money, business, and the economy. Romans has also reported on significant world events, including the September 11 attacks and the Arab Spring.
