Christina Alexandra Voros is an Emmy-nominated director, producer, and cinematographer known for her ability to simultaneously direct and operate the camera, contributing a distinctive perspective to American television. Voros studied at Harvard University and earned an MFA from New York University's Tisch School of the Arts, where she was awarded a fellowship in the graduate film program. She was recognized by Filmmaker Magazine as one of the 25 New Faces in Independent Film and began her career directing and shooting documentary projects, including her debut short "The Ladies," which received Grand Jury Prizes at several film festivals.
Voros expanded her documentary work with projects such as "Kink" and "The Director: An Evolution in Three Acts," a behind-the-scenes portrait of Frida Giannini at Gucci that premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival. She has also worked as a cinematographer on narrative features for directors including James Franco, Tim Blake Nelson, and Tate Taylor. Her transition to narrative television directing began with an episode of "Queen Sugar," followed by work on "Filthy Rich" and "Big Sky."
Voros joined "Yellowstone" as a B-camera operator in its first season, later becoming director of photography, director, and executive producer, and directed 12 episodes of the series. As the only female director in the Yellowstone Universe, she has contributed to shaping women's voices both on screen and behind the camera. Her work on the prequel series "1883" earned a Primetime Emmy nomination for Outstanding Cinematography for a Limited or Anthology Series, and she directed and shot five episodes of "Lawmen: Bass Reeves." In recognition of her contributions to the culture and landscape of the American West, she received the Patsy Montana Award from the National Cowgirl Museum and Hall of Fame.
Voros has directed, shot, and executive produced every episode of "The Madison," a Taylor Sheridan-created drama starring Michelle Pfeiffer and Kurt Russell, as well as the inaugural season of "Dutton Ranch." She has also directed and executive produced episodes of "Frisco King." With experience across documentary, narrative film, and prestige television, Voros is recognized for her integrated creative approach to storytelling, visual craft, and the evolving landscape of American drama.
