Chris Mann

Chris Mann is an American classical crossover tenor known for his operatic training and pop music expertise. Mann graduated from Vanderbilt University's Blair School of Music with a degree in vocal performance, establishing a foundation for a career spanning concert halls, Broadway-style touring productions, television, and digital platforms. After graduation, Mann was cast in an Italian opera in Europe and later moved to Los Angeles, where he worked in studio and group singing roles, contributing vocals to major films such as "Avatar," "Tangled," "Sex and the City 2," and "The Smurfs." He has toured with Grammy Award winner India.Arie and Tony Award winner Idina Menzel, and performed at events including the Sundance Film Festival and the AFI Life Achievement Award ceremony.

Mann gained national recognition as a contestant on the second season of "The Voice." He performed for a global audience during the post-Super Bowl XLVI broadcast, which reached over 37 million viewers. Mann finished first on Team Christina Aguilera and represented her in the final round, earning praise from coaches including Cee Lo Green and Blake Shelton. His duet with Christina Aguilera achieved chart success and contributed to his reputation as a standout vocalist on the show. Following this exposure, Mann signed with Universal Republic Records and released his debut album, "Roads," which debuted at number one on Billboard's Heatseekers chart and entered the Top 200. Mann was cast by Sir Cameron Mackintosh and Lord Andrew Lloyd Webber as The Phantom in The Phantom of the Opera's 25th Anniversary Tour. He performed the role for more than 700 shows, drawing on his classical training to deliver one of musical theater's most demanding parts across the country.

Mann's musical parody videos have attracted significant attention online, amassing over 600 million views. He writes, produces, and performs these videos, which have been recognized for their humor and vocal quality. Mann has been called "the voice of the pandemic" by the LA Times and has appeared on outlets including CNN, NPR, The Today Show, BBC News, and The New Yorker.

Mann has performed with the National Symphony for President and Mrs. Barack Obama, headlined at The John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts in Washington, D.C., and at New York City's Christmas in Rockefeller Center Concert, demonstrating his versatility across live, broadcast, and digital music platforms.
