Chris Hayes

Chris Hayes is a recognized journalist and television host, best known for his weekday news and opinion show on MSNBC, "All In with Chris Hayes." His work also includes his contributions as an editor-at-large for The Nation magazine. His television show was recognized was awarded an Emmy in both 2015 and 2018. Hayes also hosts a weekly podcast on MSNBC titled "Why Is This Happening?" which was launched in May of 2018.

In addition to his on-screen presence, Hayes is also an acclaimed author, having penned three books, "Twilight of the Elites: America After Meritocracy", "A Colony in a Nation", and the bestselling "The Sirens' Call: How Attention Became the World's Most Endangered Resource". He was featured at major book festivals, including the Brooklyn Book Festival and the L.A. Times Festival of Books. His live podcast episodes have hosted notable guests such as Ta-Nehisi Coates and Stacey Abrams.

He is a frequent guest on "Late Night with Seth Meyers" and has made appearances on C-SPAN. Hayes is also affiliated with the New America organization, a think tank that focuses on a range of public policy issues. Notably, Hayes has used his platform to voice his opinions on pressing issues, such as his criticism of the U.S. government's decision to charge Julian Assange under the Espionage Act, thereby highlighting his stance on press freedom.
