Chris Field

Chris Field is an entrepreneur, author, and humanitarian with a career spanning financial technology, nonprofit leadership, and motivational speaking. As chief growth officer at Holistiplan, a tax planning software solution, Field leads the vision and strategy for scaling efficiency and effectiveness for financial advisors. In this role, he oversees sales, marketing, and strategic partnership initiatives. Holistiplan, created by two CFP professionals, streamlines tax planning by allowing advisors to upload client tax returns and generate client-ready tax planning reports within seconds, eliminating manual data entry and supporting detailed tax projections.

Before his work in fintech, Field founded Mercy Project, a nonprofit focused on combating child trafficking in Ghana's fishing industry. Mercy Project's approach has drawn international attention and earned the Norman Borlaug Humanitarian Award. The organization has rescued, rehabilitated, and reintegrated nearly 300 formerly enslaved children with their families. Mercy Project works with fishing communities to implement aquaculture cage-fishing, increasing family income and encouraging the voluntary release of children back to their families.

Field is an award-winning author and two-time TEDx speaker. His books include "Disrupting for Good" and "A Billion Hours of Good." In "Disrupting for Good," he explores how audacity, courage, selflessness, and creativity can disrupt the status quo in pursuit of social justice. Field has also broken multiple Guinness world records, run marathons, organized large-scale fundraisers, created viral internet campaigns, and taught himself auctioneering.

In addition to his work in financial technology, Field leads a global charity, speaks nationally, and teaches a business class at Texas A&M. He served as the first director of the Aggie Financial Planning Clinic, established by a gift from Schwab Advisor Services, which provides Financial Planning Program students with hands-on experience and offers free financial planning services to underserved families in the Brazos Valley. Field's message on passion and persistence resonates with audiences ranging from young leaders to C-suite executives, emphasizing the importance of challenging complacency and fostering intentional action in organizations.
