Chord Overstreet

Chord Overstreet is an actor, singer, and multi-instrumentalist known for his work in television, film, and music. Raised in a musical household, Overstreet is the son of country songwriter Paul Overstreet, a Grammy Award winner and member of the Songwriters Hall of Fame. Immersed in music from an early age, he learned to play the mandolin, drums, flute, piano, and guitar before developing an interest in acting.

Overstreet began his entertainment career with appearances on shows such as "iCarly" and the web series "Private." He gained widespread recognition for his role as Sam Evans on the FOX series "Glee," where he portrayed a transfer student and athlete who joins the school's show choir. His performance earned him a Teen Choice Award in the Choice TV: Male Scene Stealer category and a nomination for a Screen Actors Guild Award as part of the ensemble cast. Overstreet appeared in 91 episodes of "Glee," and the cast received a Grammy nomination for Best Compilation Soundtrack for Visual Media for "Glee: The Music, Volume 4."

Following "Glee," Overstreet expanded his acting portfolio with roles in film and television. He starred opposite Lindsay Lohan in the Netflix holiday romantic comedy "Falling for Christmas" and has been a key cast member in the Apple TV+ comedy series "Acapulco," playing the role of Chad. His film credits include "A Warrior's Heart," "4th Man Out," and "The Hole."

In addition to acting, Overstreet has pursued a music career, drawing on his background in songwriting and performance. He was the first artist signed to Safehouse Records and opened for Demi Lovato and Nick Jonas on the Future Now Tour. His debut single, "Homeland," and follow-up single, "Hold On," which was certified double Platinum by the RIAA, reflect his pop and singer-songwriter influences. Overstreet released the EP "Tree House Tapes" and performed "Hold On" on NBC's Today show. He later formed the alt-pop-rock band OVERSTREET with his brothers. Influenced by artists such as James Taylor, Bob Dylan, and Paul Simon, Overstreet continues to contribute to the entertainment industry through his work in acting and music.
