Cheyenne Parker-Tyus is a professional basketball forward in the Women's National Basketball Association (WNBA), known for her toughness, versatility, and resilience both on and off the court. Born in Queens, New York, she played college basketball at Middle Tennessee State before being selected fifth overall by the Chicago Sky in the 2015 WNBA Draft.
Parker-Tyus spent her first six seasons with Chicago, gradually increasing her role, production, and impact. She later played for the Atlanta Dream from 2021 through 2024, where her breakout season came in 2023: she was named a WNBA All-Star after averaging about 15.0 points and 6.7 rebounds per game.
In February 2025, she signed a one-year contract with the Las Vegas Aces. She missed much of the season due to pregnancy, but made a return late in the year after giving birth to her son Yoshua. Despite missing time, she has maintained her reputation as a resilient leader and a player who brings energy and toughness to the frontcourt.
