Charles Martin is a New York Times and USA Today bestselling author known for his novels that explore themes of love, redemption, and the human spirit. With a background in journalism and communication, Martin holds a Ph.D. in Communication from Regent University and a master’s degree from the University of Florida.
He has authored more than 20 novels, including "The Mountain Between Us," which was adapted into a major motion picture starring Idris Elba and Kate Winslet. His other acclaimed works include "When Crickets Cry," "Where the River Ends," "Long Way Gone," and the "Murphy Shepherd" series.
Martin has also written non-fiction books, such as "What If It’s True?" and "They Turned the World Upside Down," where he reexamines stories of the Bible through a storyteller’s lens. His works have been translated into numerous languages and have garnered a wide international readership.
Martin lives in Jacksonville, Florida, with his wife and sons, and continues to write stories that reflect the complexities of the human condition while offering messages of grace and transformation.
