Charles Hua Biography
Charles Hua is the founder and Executive Director of PowerLines, a nonprofit organization aiming to modernize utility regulation for American energy consumers to lower utility bills and grow the economy.
Previously, Hua served as a Senior Policy Advisor at the U.S. Department of Energy, where he helped develop strategies around grid modernization, and as a Research Affiliate at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory working on energy policy.
For this work, Hua has been recognized by the White House as a U.S. Presidential Scholar, by the Aspen Institute as a Fellow, and by the Energy News Network as a 40 Under 40 honoree.
