Charles Holive

Charles Holive is an AI executive and engineer with a career spanning more than two decades in data, analytics, and artificial intelligence transformation. A graduate of École Centrale de Lille, Holive has held leadership roles in AI, data analytics, and business innovation across influential enterprises worldwide.

Holive serves as Chief AI Officer at BNP Paribas Corporate & Institutional Banking, where he leads the bank's global AI strategy. His work focuses on embedding artificial intelligence as a sustainable driver of value creation, operational excellence, and competitive advantage across markets, financing, and risk management.

Prior to BNP Paribas, Holive held leadership positions in enterprise AI. As Global Head of Applied AI/ML, GenAI & Digital Tools Services at JP Morgan Corporate & Investment Bank, he delivered more than $150 million in EBIT uplift through applied AI and machine learning across global banking operations. At PepsiCo, as SVP of AI Solutions & Platforms, Holive led the AI transformation of a $92 billion enterprise operating in more than 200 countries, guiding the shift from traditional AI to autonomous, decision-making agents and establishing strategic partnerships with Microsoft, AWS, Google Cloud, NVIDIA, OpenAI, and Anthropic. He has also held senior roles at GE Healthcare and Sisense, focusing on AI, analytics, and data monetization at enterprise scale.

At BNP Paribas CIB, Holive defines and executes the global AI strategy, drives adoption of AI solutions across all business lines, and strengthens the division's AI culture through learning and training initiatives. He emphasizes an outcome-driven approach, measuring AI success by business outcomes and productivity gains rather than raw token consumption. Holive has participated in the AWS CXO Advisory Board for Agentic AI, a forum of global business leaders shaping the future of AI adoption and enterprise transformation.

Holive is recognized as a speaker on institutional AI strategy, moderating panels on how large firms embed AI into decision systems, invest capital, manage risks, and adapt to technological change.
