Charissa Thompson

Charissa Thompson is a prominent figure in sports broadcasting, known for her work as host of several NFL programs. Thompson serves as host for three NFL shows: "FOX NFL Kickoff," the lead-in to "FOX NFL Sunday"; Prime Video's "Thursday Night Football" pregame show; and "NFL Films Presents" on FS1, which explores the league's stories and personalities.

Since the launch of FS1, Thompson has been a key presence on the network, recognized for her roles as both host and reporter in sports and entertainment. Her career in sports media began as an assistant in the FOX Sports human resources department. She later worked in the network's highlights department, developing her skills in editing and organizing game footage, before moving to a production assistant role at FOX Sports Net Rocky Mountain. While in Denver, Thompson received her first on-air opportunity as a fill-in host, which led to her being hired as a regular host on the nationally syndicated program "Best Damn Sports Show Period."
