Chan Kim

Chan Kim is an American professional golfer known for his international success across major golf tours. Kim played collegiate golf at Arizona State University, where he won the Arizona Amateur Stroke Play Championships and the Pacific Coast Amateur. After graduating, Kim turned professional and competed on the Canadian Tour, European Challenge Tour, and Asian Tour before joining the Japan Golf Tour.

On the Japan Golf Tour, Kim won eight tournaments and received honors such as Rookie of the Year and leading the money list. His victory at the "Mizuno Open" secured him a spot in the Open Championship, where he finished tied for 11th. Kim also achieved a wire-to-wire win at the "Casio World Open," setting the Japan Golf Tour's lowest-ever 72-hole score with a final round of 10-under-par 62.

Kim faced challenges, including a back injury that sidelined him for a year after a season with three wins. After recovering, he recorded six top-three finishes and won the "Japan Open Golf Championship." He continued his success with victories at the "Golf Nippon Series JT Cup," "Vantelin Tokai Classic," and "Dunlop Phoenix Tournament."

Following his achievements in Japan, Kim pursued opportunities on the PGA Tour. He competed on the Korn Ferry Tour, winning the "Magnit Championship" and the "Albertsons Boise Open," and secured his PGA Tour card by finishing second on the points list. Kim currently plays on the PGA Tour, bringing extensive international experience and a record of success in professional golf.
