Catriona Gray is a singer, podcast host, and charitable spokesperson from the Philippines who was crowned Miss Universe 2018. She is also a freelance journalist and author.
In the podcast "2 Steps Back," best friends Catriona Gray and Nicole Cordoves share their untold stories, pulling back the curtain on their public personas to reveal the fun, crazy and sometimes messy realities of being a modern woman.
Her writing career includes work for publications like Harper's Bazaar, Town & Country, House & Garden, and the Telegraph. She has also written books, including two on interior design ("Fifties House" and its sequel "Sixties House") and two middle-grade novels.
Since winning the Miss Universe title, she has traveled around the world working for causes she's passionate about; such as advocating for HIV testing/awareness and access to quality education for all.
After concluding her reign in December 2019, she has gone on to continue working with Smile Train as their Global Ambassador, become the Ambassador of Arts for the Philippines National Commission for Culture and the Arts and fulfills an active ambassadorship role for The Red Cross, Young Focus Organization (Education), Love Yourself (HIV/AIDS), One Town One Product (Dept. Trade & Industry) to name a few.
