Cassidy Hubbarth Biography
Cassidy Hubbarth is a television sportscaster known for her coverage of the NBA and college athletics. She formerly hosted ESPN2’s “NBA Tonight” and anchored “SportsCenter” and “College Football Live.” Before joining ESPN, she was a host and reporter for the Big Ten Network and Fox Sports South, where she earned a Southeast Emmy Award for interactivity for her work on “SEC Gridiron Live.”
A Chicago native, Hubbarth began her career at Navteq as a traffic reporter and producer for WMAQ NBC5. She later worked at Intersport as a production assistant, associate producer and host before making the move into national sports broadcasting.
Hubbarth joined ESPN in August 2010 as a studio anchor and host for college football, college basketball and the NBA on ESPN3. She also hosted exclusive ESPN3 events such as the Georgia Pro Day, the Baylor Pro Day and the Madden Bowl. In March 2013, she became a full-time anchor for ESPN and went on to host a variety of programs across the network, including “SportsCenter,” “NBA Tonight,” the “NBA Today” podcast, “Highlight Express,” “Numbers Never Lie,” “SportsNation” and “First Take.”
In April 2025, Hubbarth left ESPN to join “NBA on Prime Video,” where she continues to cover professional basketball.
