Casey Hammer

Casey Hammer is an American author, speaker, and advocate for survivors of abuse, recognized for her role in exposing the legacy of one of America's most influential families. Hammer is the granddaughter of industrialist and philanthropist Armand Hammer and the daughter of Julian Armand Hammer. She has one brother, Michael, who is the father of actor Armie Hammer. A native Californian, Hammer graduated from Pepperdine University with a Bachelor of Science in business administration. After graduation, she spent about a decade in the retail industry before transitioning to the entertainment sector following the death of her grandfather.

Hammer studied acting at the Stella Adler Conservatory, Actor's Circle Theater, and Howard Fine Acting Studio. She went on to produce the play "Tennessee Jar," act in various television specials, and appear in the film "Leap of Faith." After relocating to San Diego, Hammer graduated from the Western School of Feng Shui and became a licensed Feng Shui practitioner, founding her own company, Dragon Devas. While in Los Angeles, she served as a mentor for the Fulfillment Fund, a UCLA affiliate, and volunteered in the pediatric intensive care unit of a hospital.

Hammer self-published her memoir "Surviving My Birthright," chronicling her upbringing in the Hammer family, a lineage marked by allegations of money laundering, extramarital affairs, and violence. In the book, she details her experiences growing up with the Hammer name and reveals the family’s history of abuse and secrecy. The memoir gained renewed attention after going viral on TikTok, leading to her involvement in a major documentary project.

Hammer is known for the docuseries "House of Hammer" on HBO Max and Discovery+, which explores her family's history of abuse and influence in Hollywood. The series features accounts from victims and Hammer herself, who shares her personal experiences. Her story has also been featured in Vanity Fair’s exposé "Armie Hammer: The Rise and Fall of the House of Hammer." She has participated in more than 150 interviews worldwide, representing Discovery+ for the series.

As an advocate, Hammer focuses on raising awareness about consent, accountability, and victim advocacy, aiming to empower others and foster healing. She is working on a sequel to her memoir, titled "Hammertime: Surviving & Thriving." As a keynote speaker, Hammer addresses topics such as social activism, personal growth, overcoming adversity, resilience, and empowerment.
