Carmen Ejogo

Carmen Ejogo is a British actress and singer known for her work in film, television, and music. Ejogo began her career in the entertainment industry at a young age, making her film debut in the musical "Absolute Beginners" alongside David Bowie. She later hosted her own pop music program and served as a presenter for the children's series "Saturday Disney." These early roles established a foundation for a transatlantic career spanning a wide range of genres and characters.

Ejogo gained recognition for her portrayal of Coretta Scott King in the HBO film "Boycott" and later in Ava DuVernay's historical drama "Selma."
