Carmelo Anthony

Carmelo Anthony, an accomplished retired professional basketball player, has an impressive career spanning 19 seasons in the National Basketball Association (NBA). A ten-time NBA All-Star and six-time All-NBA Team member, Anthony's prowess was recognized when he won the NBA scoring champion title in 2013. His legendary status was cemented when he was named to the NBA 75th Anniversary Team in 2021. Beyond his individual successes, Anthony also displayed his skills on an international platform. As a member of the United States men's Olympic basketball team, he won three Olympic gold medals and one bronze medal, setting new records for the US Olympic team's all-time leader in points, rebounds, and games played.

Anthony's journey to success started at Syracuse University, where he guided the Orangemen to their first NCAA tournament title in 2003. His exceptional performance earned him the NCAA tournament's Most Outstanding Player Award in 2003. Following his successful season at Syracuse, Anthony declared himself eligible for the 2003 NBA draft and was chosen third overall by the Denver Nuggets. Throughout his NBA career, Anthony demonstrated remarkable consistency in his scoring ability. His record-breaking performance includes a career-high and Knicks' single-game scoring record with 62 points in a game against the Charlotte Bobcats. In 2025, he was inducted into the Basketball Hall of Fame and joined NBC Sports as a studio analyst for its NBA coverage.

Beyond the basketball court, Anthony has made a mark in the entertainment industry. He appeared in the "Lost and Found" episode of "Ned's Declassified School Survival Guide" and guest-starred in several episodes of the Showtime series "Nurse Jackie." He also made a cameo appearance in the eighth episode of the seventh and final season of the FX series "Sons of Anarchy". In November 2023, Anthony, in collaboration with The Kid Mero, launched a weekly podcast titled "7PM in Brooklyn with Carmelo Anthony & the Kid Mero." His passion for the creative arts led him to establish a production company called Creative 7 in April 2021.
