I'm Carlos Calderon, originally from Mexico City, where I spent my formative years before embarking on a journey that has seen me flourish in the vibrant landscape of the US entertainment industry for a quarter of a century. My initial passion lay in architecture, where I honed my skills designing and constructing structures in Mexico, all while delving into the captivating world of Architectural Photography, a pursuit that fueled my creative spirit and broadened my horizons.

However, fate had other plans for me, as my talents behind the lens opened unexpected doors into the realm of entertainment. What began with humble beginnings in commercials soon blossomed into a fulfilling career as an on-air personality for Univision Network, gracing both television and radio productions with my presence. Among my proudest achievements is my tenure as co-host of "Despierta America", a daily morning show that has become a cornerstone of Hispanic culture, earning accolades including multiple EMMY awards for our dedication to empowering, informing, and entertaining the Hispanic community nationwide.

My journey has been one of constant growth and learning, reflected in my diverse educational pursuits, which have taken me from the halls of NYU, where I delved into post-production and editing, to Harvard University, where I immersed myself in creativity strategies and techniques. Along the way, I also explored the realms of creative writing at Stanford and journalism at UC Berkeley, enriching my understanding of storytelling and communication.

Beyond my professional endeavors, I am deeply committed to giving back to my community and making a positive impact on the world. As a co-founder of ConstrumexUSA, I am proud to support housing initiatives in Mexico, providing families with the opportunity to build homes and create a better future for generations to come. Additionally, my wife and I embarked on the innovative venture of Gelato For Your Face, a skincare product that not only nourishes the skin but also symbolizes our dedication to innovation and quality.

In all my pursuits, I am guided by a simple yet powerful motto: "It is time to make the world a better place".
