Carlos Boozer

Carlos Boozer is a retired professional basketball player known for his role as a power forward during a 13-year NBA career. Born in 1981, Boozer played college basketball at Duke University, where he became an All-American and contributed to the Blue Devils' NCAA Championship. He holds Duke's career record for field goal percentage at .631 and ranks among the Atlantic Coast Conference's all-time leaders in shooting accuracy. After declaring for the NBA Draft, Boozer was selected 35th overall by the Cleveland Cavaliers.

During his NBA tenure, Boozer played for the Cleveland Cavaliers, Utah Jazz, Chicago Bulls, and Los Angeles Lakers. He earned NBA All-Star selections and All-NBA Third Team honors, averaging 16.2 points and 9.5 rebounds across 861 games. Boozer signed a five-year contract with the Chicago Bulls.

On the international stage, Boozer represented the United States, earning an Olympic bronze medal at the Summer Olympics and an Olympic gold medal as part of Team USA's undefeated squad. After his NBA career, he played professionally with the Guangdong Southern Tigers in China before retiring from competitive basketball.
