Carla Buzasi

Carla Buzasi is a leading figure in global trend forecasting, serving as president and CEO of WGSN, a trend intelligence company. After 15 years as an editor and journalist, Buzasi transitioned into trend forecasting, progressing through roles as global chief content officer and managing director before becoming CEO at WGSN. In this capacity, she leads a global team of specialists, delivering insight, data analysis, and consultancy services to brands worldwide. Following WGSN's acquisition by Apax Partners, the company expanded its offerings into new industries and sectors, including the acquisition of global beverage and alcohol data business IWSR.

Before her move into trend forecasting, Buzasi built a career in journalism and digital media. She was the founding editor-in-chief of The Huffington Post UK, overseeing its growth to 8 million UK users and 24.4 million global unique users per month, and attracting more than 10,000 bloggers. Buzasi also held editorial roles at Marie Claire, Glamour, and Vogue.com, and contributed to The Guardian, Metro, and other newspapers and magazines.
