Cameron Jordan

Cameron Jordan is recognized as one of the most decorated and durable defensive ends in NFL history, spending his entire professional career with the New Orleans Saints. Selected in the first round of the NFL Draft with the 24th overall pick, Jordan established himself as a cornerstone of the Saints' defense. He played in 50 of 51 possible games at the University of California, earning first-team All-Pac-10 honors as a senior, and brought that work ethic to the professional level.

Throughout his career, Jordan has built a legacy among NFL defenders. He holds the Saints' franchise record with 132 official sacks and ranks first in franchise history with 175 tackles for loss. Jordan has been selected to eight Pro Bowls, the most for a defensive player in club history, with six consecutive selections that trail only Drew Brees and William Roaf in team history. His individual honors include a First-team All-Pro selection, two Second-team All-Pro nods, and a place on the NFL 2010s All-Decade Team. Jordan's 226 regular season games played ranks ninth all-time among NFL defensive linemen.

Jordan's longevity and competitive drive have been evident in the later stages of his career. After recording two sacks in one season and four in the next, he rebounded with 10.5 sacks in his 15th NFL season. He has been selected as a team captain nine times throughout his career.

Off the field, Jordan is active in the New Orleans community. He was named the winner of the Bart Starr Award, which recognizes outstanding character, integrity, and leadership on and off the football field. The Cam Jordan Foundation partners with organizations such as Youth Empowerment Project and Boys & Girls Clubs of America, focusing on youth development initiatives. Jordan also launched the Cam Jordan Foundation Legacy Scholarship Program, providing full college tuition for Louisiana high school seniors, along with mentorship and essential resources. In recognition of his community contributions, the New Orleans City Council declared May 8 as Cameron Jordan Day.

Jordan is the fourth member of the Saints to win the Bart Starr Award, tying the Tampa Bay Buccaneers for the most all-time winners of the honor. Whether competing on the field or investing in the next generation of New Orleans youth, Jordan is recognized for his leadership and commitment to both football and community service.
