Cameron “Cam” Skattebo is a powerful and versatile football running back currently with the New York Giants in the National Football League (NFL). A standout at Rio Linda High School with over 6,000 rushing yards and a state title, Skattebo joined Sacramento State as the only Division I scholarship offer he received, earning Big Sky Offensive Player of the Year in 2022 with 1,382 rushing yards and first-team All-America honors. After transferring to Arizona State University (ASU) in 2023, he amassed 2,316 scrimmage yards and 25 touchdowns in 2024, finishing fifth in Heisman Trophy voting and earning first-team All-American and All‑Big 12 status.
Known for his rugged, downhill running style, elite contact balance, and ability to force missed tackles—he tallied over 100 in 2024 alone—Skattebo also served as a vocal leader and multi-positional chess piece in ASU’s offense. The New York Giants drafted him in the fourth round of the 2025 NFL Draft (105th overall).
