Cam Jordan

Cam Jordan is an professional football player and longtime defensive end for the New Orleans Saints. Born in Chandler, Arizona, Jordan played college football at California before being selected by the Saints in the first round of the 2011 National Football League (NFL) Draft.

Over a 16-year career, Jordan established himself as one of the most accomplished defensive players in Saints history. He is an eight-time Pro Bowl selection, a three-time All-Pro, and a member of the NFL 2010s All-Decade Team. He holds Saints franchise records for games played, tackles for loss, and sacks, with 132 career sacks, ranking among the top 20 in NFL history.

Jordan returned to the Saints in 2026 on a one-year contract for what he has described as his final NFL season, giving him an opportunity to add to his impressive résumé as he makes a case for eventual Pro Football Hall of Fame consideration.

The son of former NFL tight end Steve Jordan, he followed his father into professional football while creating his own legacy in New Orleans. He was the Saints' nominee for the Walter Payton NFL Man of the Year Award three times—in 2017, 2021, and 2024—recognizing his longstanding commitment to youth development, education, mentorship, and community service. Through the Cam Jordan Foundation, he has supported numerous charitable initiatives in the New Orleans community.
