Cado Lee Ka-to

Cado Lee Ka-to is a Hong Kong rugby union and rugby sevens player known for his role as a scrum-half. Lee began playing rugby while attending high school in England and later joined the Hong Kong Under-20 team upon returning to Hong Kong. He was a member of the Hong Kong Sevens team at the Asian Sevens Series, marking the start of his international rugby career. Lee has credited former Hong Kong head coach Joe Shaw, now with Saracens, for encouraging his development as a player.

Lee's career includes several significant achievements in Asian rugby. He earned a silver medal at the Asian Games, followed by multiple gold medals, including back-to-back golds. In the Asian Games semi-final, Lee scored twice as Hong Kong defeated Korea on the way to the gold medal. Off the field, Lee became the first Chinese player to join a Top League club in Japan, signing with the NEC Green Rockets and making 10 appearances during his tenure. For his contributions to the men's rugby sevens team, which won gold at the Asian Games, Lee received a Medal of Honour for achievements in international rugby competitions.

Lee continued to play a key role for the Hong Kong Men's Rugby Sevens Team, helping secure the team's first National Games gold medal at the National Games by defeating the Shandong team. He has expressed a desire to inspire more local athletes to represent Hong Kong in rugby and has emphasized the importance of local talent in the sport's growth. Lee is pursuing a Master of Social Sciences in Sports Coaching and Management at the Education University of Hong Kong, reflecting his commitment to the development of rugby in Hong Kong.
