Bryce Underwood

Bryce Underwood is a quarterback for the University of Michigan football team, recognized as the consensus No. 1 overall recruit in his class. Underwood, a Michigan native, initially committed to LSU before signing with Michigan. His high school career at Belleville High School included leading his team to multiple Michigan Division 1 state titles and earning honors such as MaxPreps National Freshman of the Year, MaxPreps National Sophomore Player of the Year, MaxPreps Michigan Player of the Year, and Gatorade Michigan Player of the Year. He also participated in the Navy All-American Bowl and was named Gatorade National Player of the Year.

Underwood became the Wolverines' starting quarterback as a true freshman, a rare achievement at a major college football program. In his first season, he passed for 2,428 yards, 11 touchdowns, and nine interceptions, and rushed for 392 yards and six touchdowns. Underwood is regarded as a potential multi-year impact player for College Football Playoff contenders and is projected as a future first-round NFL Draft pick.

In his sophomore season, Underwood continues as Michigan's starting quarterback under head coach Kyle Whittingham. Known for his pocket awareness and ability to deliver accurate throws under pressure, Underwood demonstrates skills valued by NFL scouts and college football analysts. Off the field, he has volunteered at Detroit's Capuchin Soup Kitchen and served as a youth football instructor and coach, contributing to the local community.
