Bryant Lavender

Bryant Lavender is a motivational keynote speaker, author, and former professional athlete known for sharing his story of perseverance and faith with audiences nationwide. Raised in Gulfport, Mississippi, Lavender developed strong communication skills early in life, influenced by his mother’s focus on articulation and annunciation. His commitment to inspiring others was shaped by personal experiences, including the loss of his father at age 13, which motivated him to pursue success in athletics and later in public speaking.

Lavender earned an athletic scholarship to play football at the University of South Alabama, where he graduated before entering the NFL Draft as an undrafted free agent. He redirected his career path by becoming a published author with his first book, "Mind Under Pigskin," and began his speaking career at Bayou View Middle School. He later authored "Sweet Asylum" and played professional football with the Tampa Bay Storm in the Arena Football League and the Central Florida Jaguars in the American Indoor Football league.

During his time in central Florida, Lavender served as a keynote speaker for organizations such as United Way Central Florida and Pinellas County schools. He continued to expand his literary portfolio with books including "Driven: Fight for What They Said You Couldn't Have" and "Finding My Way Back." Lavender is a certified personal trainer and performance enhancement specialist through NASM and has published five books, reflecting his dedication to personal and professional growth.

Lavender has appeared on news stations including WLOX and WXXV25, as well as on Dr. Phillip Levin's "Meet the Author" TV show. He has delivered keynote addresses at venues such as Virginia College, the Empower the Youth Conference, and the Success Conference. His speaking topics include authorship, football, human resources, inspiration, sports, teamwork, team-building, and youth engagement, making him a versatile speaker for corporate events, educational institutions, and conferences.
