Bryan Seely

Bryan Seely is a cybersecurity expert, ethical hacker, author, international keynote speaker, and former U.S. Marine. Seely gained national attention after wiretapping the United States Secret Service and FBI by exploiting vulnerabilities in Google Maps, aiming to highlight critical security issues. He notified both agencies of the breach before it was discovered, prompting the Secret Service to acknowledge his actions.

Following this incident, Seely identified an exploit in LinkedIn and assisted the company in resolving it. He also worked with another security expert to de-anonymize the mobile app Secret, which led to a consulting role with the company. Mark Cuban later engaged Seely and his colleague to provide mobile application security and ethical hacking services for Cyberdust. Seely's work has been featured on the front pages of Wired.com, CNNMoney, CNET, Forbes, and the Washington Post.

Throughout his cybersecurity career, Seely has uncovered numerous data breaches at major institutions, helping to prevent the theft of sensitive information, including millions of Social Security numbers and billions of dollars in managed funds at MBIA. He leads the security consulting, education, and implementation division at Seely Security and has served on the MGT Capital Investments Hacker Advisory Board, advising hedge funds and corporations on cybersecurity strategy.
