Bruce Nahin

Bruce Nahin is an entertainment industry professional whose career encompasses entertainment law, live performance, film production, and mentorship. While still a law student, Nahin co-founded Chippendales Male Exotic Dancers and served as CEO for an extended period. He is credited with naming Chippendales after the furniture style found in the club, then known as Destiny II. Nahin also worked in the music industry, promoting concerts and managing talent, including assisting in the formation of Death Row Records, which is depicted in the film "Straight Outta Compton."

During his tenure at Chippendales, Nahin was involved in a period marked by significant legal and personal risk. Steve Banerjee was convicted of orchestrating the murder of partner Nick DeNoia, and trial proceedings revealed that Nahin was also targeted but avoided the plot by remaining in Los Angeles. He has recounted these experiences in the Discovery+ documentary "Curse of the Chippendales."

Nahin practiced law for nearly three decades, focusing on entertainment law with an emphasis on music and live entertainment. He was appointed by the City of Santa Clarita as one of the founding film committee members, contributing to the development of film permits, set logistics, and site management, and played a role in establishing Santa Clarita as a prominent filming location in Southern California. In subsequent years, Nahin transitioned to roles as executive producer, business affairs consultant, and development producer in film and television.

With more than 300 IMDb credits, Nahin has established himself as a business affairs consultant and executive producer. He co-founded Janick Entertainment, a film production company specializing in female-empowered independent films, and is a partner in Entertainment Support Services, which provides business affairs consulting in production, development, and distribution for film, television, and music. Nahin is an active member of the Producers Guild of America and the Television Academy.

In addition to his production work, Nahin is involved in education and mentorship within the entertainment community. He lectures and mentors at UCLA, Biola University, and various film schools in Southern California, and serves as a judge at several film festivals. Nahin participates in approximately 30 projects annually, offering guidance on the business aspects of filmmaking. His combination of legal expertise, production experience, and firsthand knowledge of significant events in Hollywood history positions him as a knowledgeable resource in the entertainment industry.
