Brian Dozier

Brian Dozier is a former Major League Baseball (MLB) infielder best known for his power hitting and steady presence at second base, particularly during his tenure with the Minnesota Twins. Dozier played college baseball at University of Southern Mississippi, where he developed into a standout middle infielder with a strong work ethic and emerging offensive upside.

Selected by the Twins in the eighth round of the 2009 MLB Draft, Dozier worked his way through the minor leagues before making his MLB debut in 2012. He quickly became a cornerstone player for Minnesota, combining solid defense with surprising power for a middle infielder. His breakout season came in 2016, when he hit 42 home runs—a then-American League record for a second baseman—while earning his first MLB All-Star Game selection and a Silver Slugger Award.
