Brian Baumgartner

Brian Baumgartner is an actor and director best known for his role as Kevin Malone in NBC’s hit drama, "The Office."

Baumgartner’s acting career started when he was cast in feature film "Herman U.S.A." Shortly after, he made appearances on CBS’ "CSI: Crime Scene Investigation," Fox’s "The Lyon’s Den," NBC’s "LAX," "Arrested Development," Fox’s "Jake in Progress," and Warner Bros’ "Everwood."

Baumgartner was cast as accountant Kevin Malone in the NBC sitcom "The Office" in its first season and starred in every one of the series’ 188 episodes. He was featured in the main series in addition to a handful of short miniseries associated with the show. For his role in the webisode series "The Office: The Accountants," Baumgartner’s performance garnered a Daytime Emmy Award.

Since "The Office," Baumgartner has voiced characters on Cartoon Network’s "Adventure Time," Nickelodeon’s "Nicky, Ricky, Dicky & Dawn," and Cartoon Network’s "Summer Camp Island." He has also appeared on some of the most acclaimed live action series including "Mike and Molly," "Criminal Minds," "Law & Order: SVU," "Bad Teacher," "The Bridge," "Hot in Cleveland," "Melissa & Joey," "Scream Queens," Amazon’s "Hand of God," "Chicago Fire," "Good Behavior," and "The Goldbergs."

Acclaimed also for his work in film, Baumgartner has starred in "License to Wed" opposite Robin Williams, "Four Christmases" with Vince Vaughn and Reese Witherspoon, "Ordinary World" with Billy Joe Armstrong and Fred Armisen, and in indie romantic comedy "One Last Night."

Most recently, he was a guest star on the reboot of "Suits L.A." He also voiced Klonk in the Paramount+ "Animation Rumble." He starred in Pantelion’s "Las Pildoras De Mi Novio" with Jason Alexander and Brooke Shields. In addition, he voiced characters in the Netflix series, "Trash Truck" alongside Larry Neff and Megan Paul. He is also in a Hulu comedy-mystery TV series, "The Other Black Girl."

Last summer, Baumgartner released his second cookbook, "Seriously Good Barbecue," to follow the highly rated precursor, "Seriously Good Chili." He also released his second book of 2024, "The Night Before Christmas at Dunder Mifflin," to great critical acclaim.
