Bret Hart

Bret Hart, known as "The Hitman," is recognized as a leading figure in professional wrestling, noted for his technical proficiency and in-ring storytelling. Often referred to as the Excellence of Execution, Hart trained in the Hart Family Dungeon and is widely considered one of the most skilled technical wrestlers in WWE history. Emerging from Calgary's Stampede Wrestling, Hart joined WWE as part of a tag team with his brother-in-law, Jim Neidhart. Together, the Hart Foundation won the World Tag Team Titles twice and became a prominent team in WWE.

He co-founded the Calgary Hitmen, a major junior ice hockey team, and wrote a weekly column for Calgary Sun for more than a decade. Hart's post-wrestling journey includes overcoming significant health challenges. After a bicycle accident resulted in a stroke and temporary paralysis, he regained mobility through extensive physical therapy. He was later diagnosed with prostate cancer, underwent surgery, and was declared cancer-free. Hart has since become an advocate for stroke recovery and men's health, serving as a spokesperson for Stroke Recovery Awareness Month and encouraging prostate cancer testing.
