Brandon Flowers

Brandon Flowers is known as the co-founder, lead vocalist, and primary songwriter of the Las Vegas-based rock band The Killers. Flowers formed the band with guitarist Dave Keuning, and after bassist Mark Stoermer and drummer Ronnie Vannucci joined, the lineup became official. The Killers have released seven consecutive chart-topping studio albums and sold more than 22 million records worldwide. The band's music spans genres including alternative rock, new wave, heartland rock, synth-pop, and post-punk revival, and Flowers is recognized as a prominent frontman of the new wave revival in the 2000s.

The Killers' catalog features enduring songs in modern rock. Flowers wrote the lyrics for "Mr. Brightside," which is among the top-selling and most-streamed songs of all time in the United Kingdom and holds the record for the most weeks spent on the UK singles chart. He also wrote "All These Things That I've Done," which was included in the "100 Greatest Songs of All Time" by The Daily Telegraph and contributed to one of the band's seven Grammy nominations. The Killers' studio albums include "Hot Fuss," "Sam's Town," "Day & Age," "Battle Born," "Wonderful Wonderful," "Imploding the Mirage," and "Pressure Machine," each of which topped the UK Albums Chart. The band has performed in more than 50 countries and on six continents, headlining venues such as Madison Square Garden, Wembley Stadium, and Glastonbury Festival.

In addition to his work with The Killers, Flowers has established a solo career. His debut solo album, "Flamingo," charted in the top 10 albums in 10 countries, including reaching number one in the UK, and drew influence from his hometown of Las Vegas, Nevada. His second solo studio album, "The Desired Effect," also debuted at number one on the UK Albums Chart. On this album, Flowers explored greater pop tendencies, with Rolling Stone describing it as "the best straight-up pop album made by a rock star in recent memory." Flowers has collaborated with artists such as Avicii, Chrissie Hynde, New Order, Travis, and Robbie Williams.

Flowers' voice and songwriting have received recognition from notable figures in rock music. U2's Bono praised Flowers' voice, and Bruce Springsteen called it "one of the most beautiful, pure voices in all of Rock 'N' Roll" at the Ivor Novello Awards. Flowers received the Special International Award at the Ivor Novello Awards, which recognizes top international songwriters and composers. He has also been awarded the Q Idol Award and has appeared on multiple lists of greatest frontmen published by various outlets.

Flowers continues to contribute to the rock and alternative music landscape through his work with The Killers and his solo projects, maintaining a presence in songwriting, live performance, and collaboration within the music industry.
