Brad Miller

Brad Miller is a former professional NBA center known for his career as an undrafted player who became a two-time NBA All-Star. Miller played college basketball for the Purdue Boilermakers before starting his professional career in the Italian Serie A with Bini Viaggi Livorno due to the NBA lockout. He later joined the Charlotte Hornets, appearing in 38 games as a rookie.

Miller's NBA career progressed after a trade to the Indiana Pacers, where he became a reliable starter, averaging 13.1 points and 8.1 rebounds during one season and earning his first NBA All-Star selection. He was then acquired by the Sacramento Kings, where he averaged 14.1 points and 10.3 rebounds in his first season and was selected for consecutive NBA All-Star Game appearances. During his second season with Sacramento, Miller averaged a career-high 15.6 points per game and recorded a career-best 38 points and 17 rebounds in a win over the Golden State Warriors.

Standing nearly seven feet tall, Miller was recognized for his skilled passing, perimeter shooting, and basketball IQ, which allowed him to facilitate offense from the high post. He became the first center since Sam Lacey to record back-to-back double-doubles in both points and assists during the 2005–06 season. Miller was also noted for his free throw shooting and ability to make three-point shots.

Miller played 14 seasons for six NBA teams, including the Kings, Bulls, Hornets, Pacers, Rockets, and Timberwolves. Over 868 regular-season games, he averaged 11.2 points, 7.1 rebounds, and 2.8 assists.
