Brad Dourif

Brad Dourif is a retired actor recognized for his intense and distinctive character work across film, television, and stage. Dourif began his acting career in school and community theater, joining the Huntington Community Players while attending Marshall University before moving to New York City to work with the Circle Repertory Company. Early stage performances, including "The Ghost Sonata" and "When You Comin' Back, Red Rider?", led to his discovery by director Milos Forman, who cast him as Billy Bibbit in "One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest." This role earned Dourif a Golden Globe for Best Actor Debut, a BAFTA Award for Best Supporting Actor, and an Academy Award nomination for Best Supporting Actor.

Dourif is known for portraying complex characters in films such as "Eyes of Laura Mars," "Wise Blood," and "Ragtime."
