Boston is a rock band known for its influential self-titled debut album, which became a best-selling debut record and features songs such as "More Than a Feeling," "Peace of Mind," and "Foreplay/Long Time." The band was founded by multi-instrumentalist Tom Scholz, who developed much of the group's sound in a home studio. Boston achieved significant commercial success, selling more than 17 million copies of the debut album and earning a Grammy nomination for Best New Artist.
