Bonnie Wurzbacher

Bonnie Jo Pruett Wurzbacher is a global executive with a career spanning more than four decades in education, corporate leadership, and international humanitarian work. Wurzbacher began her professional journey as a public school teacher in the Chicago area before transitioning to the business sector, joining The Coca-Cola Company as a national account executive with the Minute Maid division. Over her 28-year tenure at The Coca-Cola Company, she held various sales, marketing, and management roles, including corporate vice president, director of customer strategy, region vice president of the Southeast Area, and vice president of the McDonald's Account.

Wurzbacher advanced to Corporate Vice President and Senior Vice President, Global Customer & Channel Leadership, where she led commercial strategy and revenue growth with major global customers and franchised bottlers. She established the company's first Global Customer Council and was a founding member of the Global Women's Leadership Council. Wurzbacher played a key role in shaping and launching the global initiative "5 BY 20," which aimed to empower 5 million women entrepreneurs by leveraging Coca-Cola's value chain to strengthen small businesses in developing countries and support the UN Millennium Development Goals.

Following her corporate career, Wurzbacher served as Chief Resource Development Officer for World Vision International, based in London. She was responsible for the stewardship and growth of the organization's global revenue in partnership with 20 fundraising countries. As a member of World Vision International's Executive Leadership Team, Wurzbacher represented the organization on the boards of World Vision US, Australia, Canada, and New Zealand, and led a global team overseeing regional leadership in Europe and Asia, as well as global marketing, child sponsorship, and grants acquisition.

Wurzbacher has been recognized by Christianity Today as one of "The 50 Women You Should Know" for her impact on the evangelical church and North American society. She received the Paul F. Thiele Leadership Award for her contributions to Georgia's private colleges and universities. Wurzbacher has served on several local and national boards, including Gordon Foodservice Inc., March of Dimes, Network of Executive Women, National Kidney Foundation, Wheaton College Board of Visitors, and Theatrical Outfit.

In addition to her board service, Wurzbacher has been an adjunct professor in the Business and Economics Department at Wheaton College and serves on the board of the Wheaton Center for Faith, Politics & Economics and the national board of CareNet, a Christian pro-life organization in Washington, D.C. She also co-leads the expansion of the WorkMatters Institute in Atlanta. Wurzbacher is a public speaker focused on ethical business, sustainable business practices, and the integration of faith and work, drawing on her extensive global experience and Christian faith to inform her perspective.
