Bonnie Rochman

Bonnie Rochman is a journalist and author known for translating complex science into accessible, human-centered storytelling. At TIME, Rochman covered health, parenting, and pediatrics, distilling research and current events into content for a broad audience. As TIME's first full-time parenting writer, she contributed the "Family Matters" column and helped edit Healthland, TIME.com's wellness vertical. Before joining TIME, Rochman spent more than a decade as a reporter at The News & Observer in Raleigh, North Carolina. She has also reported from the Middle East, Myanmar, and Vietnam for Boston Globe, Jerusalem Report, and Fortune.

Rochman is the author of "The Gene Machine," a book inspired by a cover story she wrote for Time magazine.
